Sit Bijan, Start Puka: Your Week 7 Edge Over Every Leaguemate
The Smash Starts Nobody's Talking About
Puka Nacua and Kyren Williams are both must-starts this week, and not enough people are treating them that way. Las Vegas ranks 28th against wide receivers and 31st against running backs. That's a bottom-four defense on both fronts, in the same game. Nacua is projected at 22.4 points and Williams sits at 19.9. The Rams' implied team total is 23. Matthew Stafford gets to feast on a secondary that has been torched all season. Start all three Rams with zero hesitation.
The Fade of the Week
Bijan Robinson is going into lineups everywhere this week. His 22.9 projected points and "high confidence" label are doing the heavy lifting. Here's the problem: San Francisco ranks 6th against running backs. Sixth. That's a suffocating matchup, and it doesn't matter how talented Bijan is when Kyle Shanahan's defense is dialed in against the run. The volume will be there, but the efficiency won't. He's a downgrade this week. If you have a safer option, use it.
Waiver Wire Adds That Are Actually Real
C.J. Stroud is the move. He's trending up in ROS rankings, his primary role is secured, and he's being added in nearly 200,000 leagues right now. He's not a flier, he's a legitimate QB2 with upside. His projected 17.3 points this week is a floor, not a ceiling. The other add worth your attention is Tre Tucker in Las Vegas. With Ladd McConkey out this week with a concussion, Tucker's role expands immediately on a team that plays fast.
The Injury to Watch
Breece Hall is out with a quad injury and will not play this week. That makes Omar Cooper the direct beneficiary in New York. He's been added in over 750,000 leagues for a reason. The Jets still need someone to catch passes out of the backfield and run routes in the intermediate game. Cooper is not a league-winner, but he's a plug-and-play flex this week with real volume incoming.
