Caleb Williams Is Out, CeeDee Is a Trap, and MarShawn Lloyd Is Your New Best Friend
The Smash Start Nobody's Talking About
Puka Nacua is a must-start this week and people are still sleeping on him. Arizona ranks 25th in the league against wide receivers, and the Rams come in with a team implied total of 23 points. Nacua is projected for 23.0 points with an 84% confidence rating. That's not a flier. That's a locked-in WR1 who might be sitting on your bench because you don't fully trust him yet. Trust him. Matthew Stafford gets the same gift of a matchup, ranked as a smash start against that 25th-ranked Arizona secondary. He's trending up in ROS rankings and projects for 22.6 points. If you're in a two-QB league or desperate at the position, he's a plug-and-play this week.
The Fade of the Week
Put CeeDee Lamb down. I know, I know. But Green Bay ranks 4th in the league against wide receivers, and Lamb is listed as questionable with a quad injury on top of that. He's still projected for 19.7 points on paper, but that number doesn't account for the likelihood he's playing at less than 100%. Dak Prescott is in the same boat, facing that 4th-ranked Green Bay defense with his own questionable status floating around. The Packers have one of the hardest remaining schedules in football. This is the week to pivot if you have options.
Waiver Wire: Stop Sleeping on MarShawn Lloyd
Josh Jacobs is listed as NA this week due to a personal matter, and MarShawn Lloyd just became the most important add on your waiver wire. He led all adds in the last 24 hours with 689,364 pickups and the data says the primary role is secured. He projects for 12.4 points as a spot start, but the real value is what happens if Jacobs misses more time. Green Bay's schedule gets tough, but the opportunity is real right now. Grab him before your leaguemates wake up Sunday morning.
The Injury That Changes Everything
Saquon Barkley is out with a hamstring injury, and Dameon Pierce just inherited a featured role in the Philadelphia backfield. Will Shipley is also banged up and being dropped in 165,110 leagues. Pierce is being added in 664,432 leagues for a reason. The matchup isn't elite, but a lead back in a good offense getting full carries is a flex play at minimum. If Darius Cooper is still on your wire too, he's worth a stash in deeper leagues as a receiver-type beneficiary of the Philly skill position chaos.
