Chase Is Out, Zay Flowers Is In: Your Week 5 Cheat Sheet
The Smash Start Nobody's Talking About
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is projected for 23 points this week and he's sitting on rosters in too many leagues. Seattle's implied team total is 23 points, JSN has locked in as the clear alpha in that passing game, and his consistency score is 99.4 out of 100 on the season. That's not a fluke. That's a guy who shows up every single week. If you're debating whether to start him, stop debating. He's a top-3 WR play this week.
The Fade of the Week
Bijan Robinson is the guy everyone's penciling in, and I get it. His projected 22.7 points looks great on paper. But he's walking into a Baltimore defense ranked 4th against running backs. That's not a soft touch. The Ravens have been suffocating to opposing backfields all season, and Atlanta's implied total doesn't suggest a shootout where volume covers for matchup difficulty. Bijan is a great player. This is a bad week to find out the hard way.
The Waiver Adds That Actually Matter
Emanuel Wilson is the real add this week, not the flashy name everyone's chasing. He's projected for 12.3 points, his reasoning flags a primary role secured in Seattle's backfield, and 635,000 managers already figured this out. If he's still available in your league, that's a gift. Grab him now before next week's panic wave.
Kirk Cousins is also worth a look in two-QB or Superflex formats. Projected at 14.7 points with a primary role secured in Las Vegas, and he was added in 300,000 leagues in the last 24 hours. Vegas has a soft enough schedule ROS to make him a viable streamer right now.
The Injury to Watch
Saquon Barkley is out with a hamstring injury and Will Shipley steps into the Philadelphia backfield. Shipley was added in nearly 300,000 leagues already, which tells you the market is moving. Philly's offense runs through the ground game. Shipley inherits real volume in a strong offense. He's a must-add if available.
